Guernsey - Liberation Day Tour - May 2022
At the kind invitation of the 2nd Guernsey Boys Brigade Company, it was 3rd time lucky for BADOTSA at the Guernsey Liberation weekend May 2022
Members of the BADOTSA band finally made it to Guernsey over the weekend of 7th - 9th May 2022.
Two previous attempts had been thwarted due to the Covid restrictions that were in place, but this year, 6 drummers, 10 buglers, 3 cymbal players, 2 bass drummers and 3 bell lyres, finally made the journey over.
It was a very well organised, packed weekend of practise, parades and performances that saw BADOTSA team up with the 2nd Guernsey band and enjoy the 77th anniversary of the end of the German Occupation of Guernsey of May 1945.
